Chisako Chikai has written songs as a hobby since she is a junior high school student and once attended voice-training school for making CD. Finally she achieves a net debut on July 12, 2003 on her birthday.

The genre is J - POP and it's '80 time taste, so even if it's heard for the first time, you will feel some dear melodies. She is establishing a one-of-a-kind genre FOLK&POP.

"In earnest does any person...", which was announced in 1999, was recorded in March, 2003 and released as a single CD in the same year July.

She wrote the song "The City You Had loved -I'm here-", released on January 17, 2005, in 2000 for the disaster area rehabilitation of the Great Hanshin Earthquake.The song became most popular in all her singles.

All the songs recorded in the first album "School Days" , released in 2006, are written in her school days.

The dinner show as CD debut fifth anniversary commemoration, which was her first solo live, was successful in 2008.After that lunch cafe live was also held in 2011 and 2013 and the Internet distribution service of her works started in 2014.

The second album "Love is Beautiful" was released by the same title on the same day as the third solo live's.

Proceeds from sale of CD and Internet delivery are donated as a contribution to a devastated site or victims of a natural disaster.
